President Dato' Foo gave his insights when The Sun Daily News sought PAPA’s perspective on challenges faced by fresh graduates and early-career jobseekers in securing employment.
President Dato’ Foo was invited by PERKESO to attend a luncheon on “A Shared Vision for Foreign Worker Social Security Protection in Malaysia” which was held at Intercontinental Hotel Kuala Lumpur, accompanied by Secretary General Ir Tan.
An afternoon zoom session was conducted for PAPA members with the Cambodian Labatt Mr K.E. Veasna regarding “Updates on MoU for Domestic Workers Recruitment and Future Quota Planning for Formal Workers”.
This session was also opened to PIKAP’s and PUSMA’s members. A total of 96 persons attended this Zoom session.
Following the news highlighted in “The Edge” from PAPA’s Press Release, President Dato’ Foo was interviewed on radio live broadcast at BFM 89.9 “The Morning Run Show” regarding the freeze on foreign worker quota applications and the impact on employers, agencies, and the broader labour market.
