A joint Press Conference between all 3 Associations, namely PAPA, PIKAP and PUSMA, was organized by PAPA and spearheaded by our President Dato’ Foo. It was held at Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur to provide factual clarification following remarks made by the Minister of Human Resources, YB Dato’ Sri Ramanan, which was published by the Star Newspaper on 4-Feb-2026. 

In his statement, YB Minister said the Human Resources Ministry is in the process of formulating a pathway that would allow Malaysian employers to directly hire foreign workers, as part of efforts to eliminate third-party agents or middlemen from the recruitment process.
