PAPA was invited to attend a forum on “Human Trafficking: Modern Slavery in the Era of Digitalization” in conjuction with PDRM Special Dialogue V 2026, organized by Bahagian ATIPSOM under Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah, Buk

This year’s Labour Day Celebration was held at Unifi Arena (Axiata Arena), Stadium Bukit Jalil where a total of 11 members represented PAPA.

A team of 4 persons comprising of President Dato’ Foo, Deputy President Puan Mas Torah, Vice President 1 Mr Suresh and AJK Dato’ Mat Danial, paid a courtesy visit to KBRI (Indonesian Embassy), where they were received

JTKWPKL’s Welfare & Sports Club organized a Muhibah Golf Tournament at Kota Seriemas Golf & Country Club. PAPA participated with 1 flight of 4 persons which was led by Vice President 1 Mr Suresh together with President Dato’ Foo, AJKs Dato’ Sanda and Dato’ Nelson.

However, the game was abandoned due to the rain and prizes were converted to Lucky Draw where PAPA got the 3rd prize and Dato’ Nelson received the Grand Lucky Draw. 

Vice President 1 Mr Suresh was invited as a panelist for the Proforest-Nestle workshop targeting palm oil suppliers (mill and plantation companies) of Nestle which was held at Connexion Conference & Event Centre, Kuala Lumpur.  

He attended the workshop online via Zoom and promoted PAPA on how APS can play a role on ethical recruitment which covers worker’s grievance, forced labour, and other related issues. He suggested to the members of Malaysian Palm Oil Association (MPOA) to engage our PAPA members with JTKSM License C for any foreign workers recruitment needs.

A joint Press Conference between all 3 Associations, namely PAPA, PIKAP and PUSMA, was organized by PAPA and spearheaded by our President Dato’ Foo. It was held at Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur to provide factual clarification following remarks made by the Minister of Human Resources, YB Dato’ Sri Ramanan, which was published by the Star Newspaper on 4-Feb-2026. 

AJK Mr Yeap represented PAPA for the northern region, attended an engagement session on “Code of Conduct for Industrial Harmony” organized by KESUMA at Bertam Resort, Kepala Batas, Penang.
